Joan Vercuiel charger

A large brown floral decorated stoneware charger (1990) by the South African ceramicist, Joan Vercuiel. The surface of the charger is decorated with a daisy-like floral pattern as clay is finely folded, making the flowers appear embedded and tucked into the surface. It was donated by ceramics SA's Northern Transvaal Branch in 1990
