Jogiya Sarangi is a bowed instrument from Rajasthan, carved out of a single piece of mango wood with an elongated resonator, a finger board and square peg box. This is usually played by wandering saints who sing religious and spiritual themes accompanied by its notes. Bells on the bow of the Jogiya Sarangi provide rhythmic accompaniment.
