John Bloxidge, a gun and pistol finisher, was convicted at the Warwick Quarter Sessions for highway robbery. He was sentenced to 15 years’ transportation. He sailed for New South Wales on the Eden, departing 8 July 1840. In 1849 he was granted a ticket of leave for the district of Sydney, while remaining in the service of Thomas Turner, a contractor. He was given a conditional pardon in 1853.

- Reverse: Pierced token engraved with the design of a shamrock, thistle and rose. Above are the words: JO[H]N BLOXIDGE AD. 18.15.YS 1839 REMMBER ME WHEN FAR AWAY
- Front: Pierced token engraved with a detailed image of a man wearing a hat, buttoned waistcoat and jacket. One arm is outstretched, as if waving to a three-masted ship sailing on the water. The sea is composed of tight zigzagging lines.
