Jack Jaxon- texas historian, map maker and comic book artist- created this poster for a performance by John Lee Hooker at Austin's Vulcan Gas Company in 1968. Jack was one of the Austin creative-types who lived and worked in Austin and then moved to San Francisco- where he was the first art director for Family Dog Productions- and then moved back to Austin where he spent the remainder of his career and life.
