Joseonpalyeokdo

Joseonpalyeokdo is a one-page manuscript of a map with color illustrations, produced in a large-scale format known as Donggukjido (the first accurately measured map drawn in the Joseon Dynasty). The roads are classified into two types: sadae-ro (main roads) and gunhyeon-ro (county roads). The official rank of the officer dispatched to the province is marked on the left side of each province, and the estimated time and distance to the capital and other relevant information are marked on the right side.
