"Joseph had been taken to Egypt and Putiphar, adviser to the Pharaoh and commander of the guards, bought him from the Ishmaelites. The master realized that the Lord was with him and made all his undertakings succeed.
Joseph was handsome in shape and handsome in appearance. The Master's wife cast her eyes on him and said, "Join me." But he refused and said, “See, my lord does not ask me for an account of what is in his house. He has not forbidden me anything but you, because you are his wife. How could I do this great evil and sin against God?"
