Banner, yellow twill woven cotton lame and blue twill woven cotton ground, all sides edges with narrow gold wrapped braid, appliquéd lettering 'JOSEPHINE BUTLER' on yellow ground in flat blue silk braid, eleven appliquéd fleur-de-lis in yellow cotton lame with metal wrapped cord outline on the blue ground, blue twill weave cotton lining, text 'WOMEN'S SUFFRAGE' painted on the reverse side in orange paint, five tabs along top edge for hanging, blue silk wrapped cord with a wool tassel at each end threaded through tabs, used at the Jun 1908 NUWSS Procession [National Union of Women's Suffrage Societies (NUWSS)].
