Joshua Wright

Joshua Wright received prizes for 5th place and Best Mazurka at the 2015 National Chopin Piano Competition. No stranger to Miami, Josh also competed at the 2005 and 2010 Chopin Competitions. His persistence clearly paid off! Dr. Wright earned his Doctor of Musical Arts degree from the University of Michigan and has earned great recognition for his online pedagogy videos. He currently serves on the piano faculty at the University of Utah and is pictured here receiving his Chopin Competition Award from Maestro Agustin Anievas, Chairman of the 2015 jury.
