It was through the Jow Ga Kung Fu Assocation, and other martial arts schools, that the participation in lion dance began to extend beyond Chinese Americans. Two decades later, in 1990, Hoy K. Lee guides a young cymbal player during a performance by the Jow Ga Kung Fu Association. Duke Amayo is on drums.
