Juan with Embroidered Floral Medallions

This piece of brown juan, a plain silk tabby or twill, is embellished with irregular floral medallions embroidered in turquoise, ecru, light green and coffee silk threads. Small triangle and circular motifs appear sporadically in the blank area among the roundels.
