A wide, cylindrical pouch, deep and closed on all sides except for the upper surface which is open. Quffah is made of palm fronds (leaves and wicker), and it has two side loops (ears) that are used for preserving dates, food and flour, and is also used for transporting fresh dates after harvest. Juffair may be called Zabeel in some regions of the Gulf. ???
