The South American tropics can also be found at Seville Aquarium. This is an ecosystem with one of the highest levels of biodiversity on the planet. It is characterized by high rainfall and an average temperature of around 77ºF (25ºC). This means that it has considerably high humidity. In this ecosystem, some of the most characteristic reptile and amphibian species of the tropical south american rainforest can be seen. These include green anacondas, lizards, green basilisks, poison dart frogs, iguanas, and crocodiles.
