Child’s velvet dress coat made from gold Gros de Napoles silk. Long, with a round neck and narrow neckband. The coat is made from four pieces of material: two at the front and two at the back. The front panel is cut in one piece: the body and tails with side pleats. The front, which is fitted to the chest, extends to part of the armhole at the back and the tails open, shifting the side pleats to the back, fastening with a button. It is decorated with 12 buttons on the front to the right that do not have matching buttonholes.

The wooden buttons are covered in the same fabric and decorated with gold braid piping, with silver sequins and others that are painted pink in the middle, depicting a floral motif. A pocket that extends across almost the entire width of the tail closes with a curved flap, underneath which there are three buttons that are identical to those on the front. The back is cut in one piece: body, tail, and side pleat. It is sewn with a central seam that stops at the waist for the back opening. The long, narrow sleeves are fitted at the elbow with a turned-up cuff decorated with three buttons at the end. The edges of the front and collar, pocket flaps, and back opening are decorated with masterful embroidery depicting a winding ribbon with alternating bows and bunches of flowers, in gold braid piping and sequins, some silver and some in other colors. The coat is lined with silk, except for the back which is lined with linen, and the sleeves with cotton.
