A daughter of merchant, Stefán Th. Jónsson that invited Jóhann hansson to Seydisfjordur to oversee the mechanics involved in building motorized fishing vessels at his boat factory in Seydisfjordur. He was later instrumental in funding the first mechanical shop in East Iceland, established by Jóhann. Jóhann later married Jónína and became Stefán's son-in-law.
