[inglês][datilografado] Dear Mr. Portinari I am presently engaged in writing a book on the Integration of the Arts in Modern Latin American Architecture. In this book I intend to show the best examples of co-operation between architects and artists in Latin America: murals, architectural sculptures, mosaics, azuleijos, stained glass etc. Of course I intend to give to your work the most prominent place but the photographic material I have, is incomplete and not satisfactory. Could you send me at the earliest time possible a complete documentation on your mural work? I will select the photographs I need and will return the others to you. If there are any expenses connected with the preparation of this documentation, kindly let me know. For each example I would need: - general information on the buildings, the architects and the work of art - photographs (black and white) showing the mural in its architectural surroundings and close-up views. I hope I am not imposing on you, but since you are the greatest muralist in South America, it is important that I give a thorough account of your work. Thank you in advance for your co-operation.
