Kammawasa manuscript made of lacquered cloth with wood covers decorated in the shwe zawa (gold leaf) technique. The Buddhist scriptures are written in the 'tamarind seed' letters commonly used on these types of manuscripts. The date of the dedication of the manuscript with its box and binding ribbon is 1929.
