Drought conditions in Australia force thousands of kangaroos to Oxley Station in the Macquarie Marshes, near Warren, western New South Wales. The kangaroos move from the nearby national parks to properties with water and feed.

Biography:
Michael Amendolia is best known for his photojournalistic photography on issues related to blindness and its solutions internationally. His portrait of Australian humanitarian Fred Hollows which featured on the cover of the book Seeing is Believing has become one of Australia’s most recognisable photographs, and for over 20 years has been used by The Fred Hollows Foundation in national advertising campaigns and editorials. A freelance assignment photographer since 1997, Michael’s portraits and photojournalism have been used widely by Australian and international magazines, organisations and companies.
