The Sawadugu clan mask represents the legendary alliance that gave birth to the Kurumba, the ancient inhabitants of Saguanega. The iconographic symbol of the alliance is the antelope. The geometric element that supports the female figure represents either divine power or the sun. The female figure is the ideal image of perfection, Yenenga, mother of the Mooga people, otherwise known as Pabre, she who bears the naam, the divine principle that governs the transmission of royal authority.
