"Karl Lagerfeld: Visions of Fashion" - installation view

Karl Lagerfeld’s “Le Voyage d’Ulysse” (2013) is his modern photographic interpretation of Homer’s epic poem the Odyssey, which depicts the return journey to Ithaca of the Greek hero Odysseus, following the fall of Troy. Here Lagerfeld creates narrative photomontages incorporating landscapes with costumed models including Bianca Balti, Jake Davies and Baptiste Giabiconi, who act out roles from Homer’s text.
