Karoonda meteorite

This meteorite fell to earth at 10.53pm, November 25th, 1930. Numerous fragments totalling about 40kg were found about two weeks later, the largest being about 3kg. This is a carbonaceous chondrite. The specimen here is one of the smaller fragments.
