Katie Mitchell devising 'Beauty and the Beast'

Katie Mitchell is an English theatre director and former associate of the National Theatre. She directed a production of 'Beauty and the Beast' in 2010, and held a series of workshops at the outset of the project to create material for the show. This film, created at the time, shows how she used collaborative approaches in devising the production for 8-12 year olds.
