Buddha Pada Excavated from Pallavaneswaram Buddha Vihara complex by Archaeological Survey of India. It is displayed in the Interpretation centre at Pallavaneswaram near Pumpuhar. The Buddha Pada is made of limestone, which is found in Andhra region. It is also known as Palnad limestone, which was used in the stupas of Andhra. The Buddhist connection of Kaverippumpattinam is highlighted by these finds.
