A ballet for television, based on the biblical story of Kaïn and Abel, Genesis 4 of the Old Testament. Kaïn (Jaap Flier) and his brother Abel (Gérard Lemaître) get into a fight about a women (Hannie van Leeuwen). Kaïn kills Abel. This ballet was accompanied by a historical introduction by professor N.A. Donkersloot, with the help of drawings, paintings and sculptures.
