Salamanca, Spain

The Kewpies (Cupids or Little Devils) are inspired by the drawings of the American Rose O’Neill published for the first time in 1912. Certain German manufacturers took advantage of their popularity to create them in biscuit. This pair was the first to be made by the Kestner Company with the permission of O’Neill.
