Minje Jeon thinks that taking photos of food and uploading them on Instagram with hash tags such as #food and #foodporn became a culture. The work started with questions such as ‘What is the driving force for continuing these behaviors?’, ‘If one of them is human’s greed and desire, in what shape can it be expressed?’. The artist attempts experiment of rebuilding in vision and sound by collecting, disassembling and analyzing the images with food tags in qualitative and quantitative forms.

Minje Jeon believes that data is a mirror reflecting a society, and it can be expanded into another media. The artist who majored in computer engineering is conducting experiments of materializing data into various forms. The artist worked for Afreeca TV, and NCSOFT, and currently he works for HomoMimicus, Daejeon Center fostering company which resolves problems through nature mimicking technology as a development and data analyst.
