This charpoy was made using wood from an old bullock cart and was placed in front of a blacksmith’s workshop and residence. It was taller in height than other examples, owing to which it was also referred to as a dehla (a charpoy which is the size of a palang). Metal rods were fixed between the legs and the frame to act as brackets and provide extra strength.
