Khadvanja (Water pitcher storage)

This khadvanja was made with wooden members fixed by mortise and tenon joinery. It was designed like a trestle structure and was the only one of its kind recorded in Punjab. The khadvanja was also used to place a tokri (basket) with washed utensils. Water was stored in plastic containers below it.
