Kigango

Made of very hard heavy wood such as Mvule, Nzizi or Mbamba Kofi. It has a well defined nose with close set eyes and undulating hand of triangles across the face. There is no mouth. They are usually carved for an important male member of the tribe but holes are usually carved to commemorate female withcdoctors.
