The Language Archive (TLA) at the Max Planck Institute for Psycholinguistics offers and preserves unique samples of selected data collections of the world's language diversity. Its digital collection includes audio-visual and textual resources documenting 102 languages and cultures globally with high-quality samples of the respective languages in their natural context, prepared between 2000-2014. It represents a landmark for language documentation, depicts little known and understudied communities recorded by world leading specialists with active involvement by these speech communities.
