Features black and white polka dots alternating with yellow and red swirling circles, all lined with black and red fabric. The main material is creped silk plain weave with a damask pattern of a fine-scale swastika fret, visible only in the solid spiral areas. The overall background is a stencil-printed diagonal lattice, known as katasome, in indigo black. The red and yellow spirals were resist-painted using yuzen techniques before stenciling. The upper lining is red silk plain weave, while the lower lining and collar facings are black silk creped chirimen. The garment has a folding collar with snap closures.
