historical photography - King Harlequin is a play written by Rudolph Lothar, who is - among others - also author of the opera's libretto Lowland (Eugen d'Albert), that opera was played in the years 1901-1907. The title role was entrusted to Eduard Vojan (1853-1920), personality, who became a symbol of the artistic beginnings of the National Theatre.
