This is a black and white photograph of Kinori Oka with her older daughter, Nancy Miyuki, in about 1931. The photo is thought to have been taken in Abbotsford. While she nursed Nancy, Kinori learned Western sewing. Sometime after the family was sent to Lemon Creek, Nancy Miyuki moved to Toronto. Kinori saw her again ten years later, and at that time Nancy was married to a Canadian.
