The Kiradu temple is located in the village of Siyani in Barmer. The architectural splendour of  Kiradu temple is a group of 5 ruined Hindu temples with intricate stone carvings and an inscription dating back to 1161 AD. The temple is surrounded by a captivating landscape overseeing the picturesque hills of the Aravalli range.

  • About the craft: Manganiyars are hereditary communities of traditional folk musicians living mostly in the Barmer and Jaisalmer districts of western Rajasthan. Their music has survived decades owing to the Jajmani system which is fundamental to their art form and also a source of livelihood. The repertoire of Manganiyar music covers qawwali, sufi songs, bhajans and songs on life cycle, rituals, festivals. The community's identity instrument is the Kamaicha.
