Kaye says: "A paediatrician caring for children in the Covid-19 pandemic. We choose this pose as we felt it showed her focus and caring attitude. Kiran designed the lanyard she is wearing, for the department and uses a distinctive pink stereoscope. Both, we thought, could be included in the portrait. Kiran has a natural beauty and exudes confidence and calmness, just what is required when looking after small children. Caring for the children who are our future."
