This souvenir has a black underglaze transfer print of "KIRKSTALL ABBEY". It is marked on the back "H. FOGGITT / RD NO. 92391 / KIRKSTALL".

The design was registered in 1888, the year in which the Abbey was put up for sale by the Earl of Cardigan. H. Foggitt were based at 55 Commercial Road.
