Kiseru (Japanese pipe)

This kiseru is an example which reproduced a model depicted by a famous ukiyo-e artist Katsushika Hokusai. The shape and design of kiseru changed according to the fashion trends. Hokusai created a collection of practical designs for kiseru. Mt. Fuji and a bird-catcher are engraved on the neck and mouth-piece.
