"Sixty-nine Stations of Kiso Road"" is the series of 71 ukiyoe prints published from 1835 through 1842. This picture depicts the scenery of the 3rd Urawa-syuku from Nihonbashi (Tokyo) in Kiso Kaido. The famous active volcano Mount Asama in Japan is pictured in the distance of the arrangement of houses of the Urawa-syuku. Behind a horse carrying a load, a child scraping up horse droppings is pictured.
