This is an impressive gem of Ko-kutani ao-te with a bold composition and stately colors. Purple peonies within three wheels are painted on the surface of this large flat dish with a diameter of over 40cm. A powerful sense of vitality can be felt from the leaves surrounding the flowers, coupled with the earth mound in the lower part.
