The relics and ruins of the Kuldhara village, established in the 13th century AD and abandoned in the 19th century, are not only a treat to the eyes but also offer a source of learning and experience for cultural-history enthusiasts. Located only 25 km from Jaisalmer city, it is an ideal location for a day-trip. Other than several abandoned houses, the relics also reveal that a temple, three cremation grounds and numerous cenotaphs, locally known as Devali, existed in the village.
