When Balenciaga meets Miao Concept The inspiration of this loose dress coat’s silhouette, as well as the embroidered apron, is based on Miao nationality traditional costumes. Miaos have a tradition of regarding the Butterflies patterns as the origin of universe and call the butterfly as Butterfly Mama, that’s where the prints and embellishments come from. The velvet trimming embroidery of which the big collar is fully covered with flowers is inspired by Balenciaga design elements.
