Kunda sota (Mortar & Pestle)

Mortar and pestle are also known as kunda sota in a few regions. The sota (pestle) was made of turned wood with the centre part being thinner than the rest. This helped in providing a better grip while holding it to grind spices in the kunda (mortar) made of stone.
