Masuda, where the Manga Museum of Art is located, is a national traditional building preservation district with an attractive townscape with internal walls. The storehouse of original drawings is a modern-day "storehouse" born in such a town of storehouses. In the same way that the traditions of Masuda and its storehouses are being carried on,so will the new Japanese culture of manga.
