Founded in 1970, Christopher Street West Association, Inc. is the nonprofit organization responsible for organizing the world's first permitted LGBTQ pride parade, which took place on Hollywood Boulevard in West Hollywood. The L.A. Pride Parade moved to Hollywood in 2022, while the now separate WeHo Pride Parade takes place on Santa Monica Boulevard.
