Three men wearing a white sweater and blue trousers, carrying a fourth man in red, above blue, white and red background like a French flag.
Ernesto Cortés is a plastic artist graduated from UDLAP. This pieces use a contrast between the three standing men, alive and the one who lay, understood as dead. Color red is linked to blood and violence. Then, the three men standing are mourning the one they are carried and had a violent death. If background is read like a French flag, the painting could be a claim to the terrorism actions suffered in that country in 2012.
