Hermina Dauber-Jovanović, an Austrian named Muni, was the artist's wife and favorite model. In addition to her numerous portraits, she is depicted in many roles as a mythological or allegorical character. Out of a total of thirty-five acts in the legacy, thirteen belong to Hermine Dauber’s plays. Here she is painted in the form of a bust, which is outlined by the circular shape of the frame - a tondo, a representation resembling motifs from porcelain painted miniatures.
