The Queen's Chamber

The Chamber is the most important room in the Queen's State Apartments and was where the sovereign spent most of her time. She received ladies of the Court here when she got up in the morning, a moment which was strictly governed by etiquette. It was also the room in which she publicly gave birth to the heir to the throne.
