This oil on canvas painted by Ramón Acín Aquilué around 1927–28 is one of the best examples of his style. This piece is large compared to his other works. It is the result of a new artistic direction he took, after meeting other artists and having direct contact with the European avant-garde. The painting uses remarkable color and brushstrokes to bring together Realism in the figures, Impressionism in the use of light, and Neo-cubism in the tents and carousels. A scene of festivity and fun opens up before the viewer's eyes, in a space crammed with a ferris wheel, a carousel, the Pim Pam Pum stall (a throwing game), a toboggan, stalls, and attractions. All this is set beneath tall trees with dense leaves that cover a bright, blue sky.
