The photograph is of great size and depicts a group of Columbidae, still and moving, intent to observe the gait of a car that has just crushed with his wheel their nest.
The photographic image, and then carried on an analog basis retouched, it is full of symbolic meanings; The wheel represents the contemporary world, messy and disinterested witness of the fall of values, civil and moral, that constantly characterize our age. The nest symbolizes instead what good and genuine we created, our network quality, our values built "brick by brick", our "nest" to be protected. The flight, therefore, is our willingness to respond, our dissent and freedom of expression that is opposed to the spirit of oppression and arrogance prevalent in our daily lives.
