La tombe de Nefertiti

The Tomb of Nefertiti is a visual collage of two cultures. Elements borrowed from Kabuki theatre, samurai, and manga evoke the spirit of Japan, while the narrative spine is inspired by ancient Egypt and the possible discovery of Nefertiti’s final resting place within a secret chamber of Tutankhamun’s tomb. Finally, a Western element, sound, adds a third dimension to the piece, thus generating confusion in the viewer.
