La traversée

La Traversée is a mural produced by MU in collaboration with The Jacques Cartier and Champlain Bridges Incorporated and signed by artist Rafael Sottolichio. It is located in the Île Sainte-Hélène pavilion pedestrian crossing under the Jacques Cartier Bridge.

The mural is a true time travel. The silhouette of a bridge crosses the tunnel from one extremity to the other, as important moments of its history are displayed along with various aspects of the bridge. Workers and boaters from different times allow us to become aware of the passage of the generations and the evolution of the iconic Jacques Cartier Bridge.

Using elements from the work of artist Rafael Sottolichio, the mural is made up of several collages and is a true tribute to the intangible passage of time.
